Cells Alive! - Many types of cells and their internal workings displayed for students. Includes video clips. Chemical Elements - An interactive periodic table which gives information on individual elements. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Student Page - Ecosystems, conservation and water topics, along with other topics, put together from the US Government. Extreme Science - A science link page covering everything from news to weather. How Stuff Works - This Web site contains everything that could possibly relate to Science. The menu bar for each subtopic runs across the top of page – the pop culture in the PeopleStuff category is trivial and fun. Neartica - Information regarding “The natural world of North America”. NSDL Scout Reports - Great resources for students on many different science topics. ScienceNews Online - ScienceNews has been digitized! Great for Science current event assignments, but only gives full magazine access to subscribers. If you want full access to past issues – use EBSCO. Animals Online - a photo-based animal database with fact sheets Primate Center - Duke University Landscape Plant Fact Sheets - Tree Fact Sheets Plant Species of New Hampshire OLogy - Interactive science projects from the American Museum of Natural History "Science behind the News" - everything from Mr. St. Helens to sharks. Helpful for preliminary research on science topics.
